Here, you’ll find some of the region's best graduate programs in the areas of criminal justice, organizational leadership, data science, secondary education and special education and applied disability studies. Traditionally, these programs attract mid-career professionals from the tri-state area who can attend on either a full- or part-time basis. In addition to the nation's top graduate programs in applied intelligence and anthropology, we’ve recently added a physician assistant program. These programs are full-time programs that draw students from around the world. Admission to these programs is very competitive.

Mercyhurst’s 12+ graduate certificates—most of which are four-course, 12-credit programs—include engaging instruction in some of today’s most in-demand disciplines, as well as a streamlined application process and affordable tuition. Several of the certificate programs are available through online delivery, making them ideal for working professionals around the world. In most cases, credits earned in graduate certificate programs can be applied toward the corresponding Mercyhurst master’s program.
Eligible undergraduate students enrolled at Mercyhurst University can earn a four-year bachelor’s degree + a two-year master’s degree in just five years! Our 4+1 programs save you time and money, and in some cases, may be completed completely online after you've graduated from the 'Hurst with your bachelor's degree
