Carignan brings over 18 years of experience and expertise in the field of intelligence analysis, focusing on aspects of intelligence in the tactical, operational, and strategic realms for both criminal and national security functions. His analytic and managerial portfolios include deep knowledge of international terrorism, domestic terrorism, violent crime, counterintelligence, liaison with agency partners, intelligence-led policing, and engagement with state fusion centers. 

He is a Unit Chef in the FBI's International Operations Division and also served in the Counterterrorism Division, Inspection Division, and the Kansas City Field Office.
