The Mercyhurst University Mercy Market will hold its sixth semi-annual Thrift Store Pop-Up on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday, Nov. 5, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Student Union Great Room.

Stemming from a vision to ensure all students have access to affordable clothing, the Thrift Store Pop-Up has transformed into a memorable multi-day campus tradition. The event will feature fall clothing and accessories, raffle baskets, and bins filled with free items. Refreshments will also be provided.

For those who have fall and winter items they’d like to clear out, the Mercy Market gratefully accepts donations year-round to support fellow students. As the colder months approach, donations of heavy winter wear are especially needed and appreciated to ensure all Lakers are warm and comfortable on campus.

“The big picture idea is to see the community of a student-run event that supports other students and offers them things they need as the winter season approaches,” shared Margaret Apen, student worker at the Mercy Market. “Hearing the encouragement and gratitude from students who look forward to it makes it all worth it.”
