Dr. Jennifer Musolff is an adjunct faculty member in the Mercyhurst University Department of Education, where she teaches in the graduate program and supports students in developing a strong foundation in the principles and practices of applied behavior analysis. Her teaching experience includes designing course instruction, assignments, readings, as well as lesson materials, and providing ongoing feedback to graduate students.
Dr. Musolff brings extensive experience in applied behavior analysis, special education, verbal behavior programming, behavioral assessment, and intervention planning. She currently serves as a board-certified behavior analyst at the Barber National Institute’s Elizabeth Lee Black School, where she provides behavior analytic services, conducts functional behavior assessments, develops behavior intervention programs, supports classroom and therapeutic staff, collaborates with IEP teams, and consults with families and outside providers.
Across her career, Dr. Musolff has held leadership, supervisory, clinical, consulting, and instructional roles focused on supporting children and individuals with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, behavioral needs, and complex learning profiles. Her professional work includes staff development, BCBA supervision, classroom consultation, verbal behavior programming, crisis intervention planning, research collaboration, and university-based fieldwork supervision.
Dr. Musolff earned her Doctor of Education from Youngstown State University, her Master of Science in Special Education from Mercyhurst University, and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education from Slippery Rock University. She also completed her Applied Behavior Analysis certification through Penn State University and holds Principal K–12 certification through Edinboro University.
Her scholarly and professional contributions include publications focused on effective instruction and functional living skills for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. She has also presented research at professional conferences, including events affiliated with the Association for Behavior Analysis International and the National Autism Conference.
Dr. Musolff’s work reflects a long-standing commitment to evidence-based practice, collaboration with families and professionals, and preparing educators and behavior analysts to support learners with diverse needs.
