Dual Enrollment at Mercyhurst University

Mercyhurst’s Dual Enrollment program allows high school juniors and seniors to enroll in college courses while still in high school. This program is available during the school year as well as the summer; summer courses through Dual Enrollment are open only to rising juniors and seniors.

Through Dual Enrollment, high school students can begin earning college credit and building a Mercyhurst University transcript, making it an excellent option for high school students who want to get a jumpstart on college course requirements and make progress toward a college degree. Any credits earned will count toward a student’s undergraduate degree from Mercyhurst University or, in most cases, will transfer to another college. Earning college credits while still in high school affords students greater flexibility and freedom during their undergraduate years to pursue other academic interests, add another major or minor, free up space in their schedules to study abroad, or graduate early.
