CONCERTS AND EVENTS
The D’Angelo Department of Music is tentatively scheduling in-person live events for Spring 2022 as seen below. Free events will be livestreamed; ticketed events will not be livestreamed. Our venues are operating at 50% capacity, but we anticipate not needing to turn anyone away. Due to the current indoors mask mandate at Mercyhurst, all audience members must wear facial coverings.
The D’Angelo Department of Music offers performances through its Faculty Recital Series, the Roche Guest Artist Series, and our large ensembles such as the Concert Choir, directed by C. Thomas Brooks; the Wind Ensemble and the Jazz Ensemble, both conducted by Dr. Scott Meier; and the Mercyhurst Civic Orchestra, featuring D’Angelo students and advanced community musicians. The fully-staged Spring opera production is directed by Royce Strider. In addition, many chamber groups – including brass, saxophone, clarinet, flute, voice, piano, and strings – perform in our Small Ensembles Concert held each semester.
Please monitor this webpage to learn more about livestream events and in-person concerts, or contact us at dangelomusic@mercyhurst.edu.

Roche Guest Artist Series
This season celebrates more than three decades of the Roche Guest Artist Series, made possible through the generosity of the TERRY AND MARGARET M. ROCHE FAMILY. Since its founding in 1988, the Roche Guest Artist Series has presented in our exceptional performance space, the Dr. Barrett and Catherine Walker Recital Hall, providing the greater Erie community free access to a unique mix of artists performing contemporary, jazz, renaissance, baroque, renaissance, and world music.
