I have served over 30 years as a police officer, with the last eight years as the Chief of Police for the North East Police Department in Erie County, Pennsylvania. I retired from policing in May 2021. I have worked for Mercyhurst University since 2015 as an adjunct professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice and the Mercyhurst University Police Academy. In 2021, I was hired as a full-time instructor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
