Faculty Recital Series: Faculty Collage

Faculty Collage, an annual highlight of the D’Angelo Department of Music Faculty Recital Series, brings together several faculty performers in a variety of musical styles. The program will be presented on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 8 p.m. in Walker Recital Hall, located in the Hirt Academic Center, and is free and open to the public. This year’s edition features the Presque Isle Saxophone Quartet (Scott Meier, Allen Zurcher, Rebecca Wunch and Bethany Dressler) performing “Quartet for Saxophones” by Elliot del Borgo; Joseph Kneer, violin, and Lydia Beasley, soprano, performing “Tender Buttons,” texts by Gertrude Stein, composed by Roger Zare; Jonathan Nolan, guitar, performing “Milonga del Angel” by Astor Piazzolla; Jay Villella, trumpet, performing “Variations on a Theme from Norma” by J.B.
