Mercyhurst College has donated $100,000 to help fund scholarships for youth served by Clara Ward's Youth Development and Family Center. The announcement was made as part of last week's filming of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," which partnered with Maleno Development and Erie area volunteers to build a new house for Ward.

The first Mercyhurst College Summer Dance Intensive will conclude its four-week session with a performance on Friday, July 31, at 4 p.m. in Walker Recital Hall, located in the Audrey Hirt Academic Building on the Mercyhurst campus.
