Freshman Housing

Mercyhurst University Residence Life strives to provide a living environment that enables each student to develop holistically through educational opportunities. We recognize that learning extends well beyond the classroom and continues into the area in which students live.

As freshmen at Mercyhurst, our students have three living options available. Baldwin Hall, an all female residence hall, McAuley Hall, an all male residence hall, and finally Warde Hall, which houses both males and females. Follow the links to learn more about how each residence hall provides a unique campus experience.

Warde Hall Triple Occupancy

Additional furniture has been added to some rooms in Warde Hall to accommodate three students. Each student will have his or her own bed, dresser, desk and chair. Triples in Warde will also have two closets and a private bathroom to be shared by three students. Students will be able to loft and/or bunk the beds, or remove one of the desks from the room, in order to optimize the living space according to their preferences. At approximately 300 square feet, rooms in Warde are the largest of all the freshman residence halls. The sizeable rooms and modular nature of the furniture allow for a variety of different room configurations, and we anticipate students in triples will have enough space to live comfortably and feel at home.
