Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

The world becomes more and more interconnected each day. Pursuing a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Global Awareness can be an excellent addition to any major or area of study. This program promotes a holistic education on the human experience through classes in anthropology, history, sociology, religion, psychology, and world languages and cultures. Students are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zones to gain a deeper understanding of our world. Our commitment to hands-on instruction, intercultural research, and the fostering of communication skills affords students excellent career flexibility that could also lead to opportunities in a wide variety of corporate, government, non-profit, museum, educational, and other people-oriented settings.

    To be admitted into a Post-Baccalaureate program, students shall have the following at the time of enrollment:

    • Completed a four-year college course of study and hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a federally approved institutional accreditor or its foreign equivalent
    • Earned a grade point average of at least 3.0 in the last 60 credit hours attempted across all academic institutions

    The following materials are required to apply:

    • A completed free online application
    • Official transcript showing a bachelor's degree or higher conferred from a federally approved institutional accreditor or its foreign equivalent

    After submitting your application, official college transcripts are sent to the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions at:

    Applications for Post-Baccalaureate programs are accepted on a rolling basis. Once you've applied, you will receive communication from the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions regarding your acceptance. Students in Post-Baccalaureate programs are not eligible for GA/GE positions or academic/merit-based scholarships.
