Dr. Doolan brings a decade of practical experience with her to the classroom having been employed in various capacities in the accounting field prior to joining Mercyhurst. She has direct experience as a staff accountant, cost accountant, manager of accounting, public accountant/auditor, and business manager for a not-for-profit.
Dr. Doolan's research interests center on the areas of corporate governance, auditor selection, and behavioral accounting.
Dr. Doolan joined Mercyhurst as an accounting Professor in 2005 and assumed the role of Associate Dean of the Business Department in 2011. She teaches courses in the accounting major ranging from Principles of Managerial Accounting to Advanced Accounting. Kimberly Zacherl serves as an Assistant Professor of Business, and Program Director for the Human Resource Management major in the Walker College of Business and Management. She has an extensive and diversified background including over twenty years of industry experience with expertise in management, sales, and marketing. Throughout her career, Kimberly has hired, managed, and trained employees at various hotels, managed a 3,900 member food and beverage club, and has over a decade of college teaching experience including 13 subjects, and has conducted many outside and inside workshops / presentations. She has held positions including General Manager, Hotel Manager, Clubhouse Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing, Marketing Consultant, and Educational Program Coordinator. All of this experience in the field has assisted Kimberly with the expertise in her area of research. Her research efforts have focused primarily on social media usage in the recruitment and selection process. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Erie Advertising Club.
Kimberly has received numerous grants (Diversity Enrichment Grants, Academic Enrichment Grants, and Technology-Enabled Teaching Grants), serves on various community and University committees, and has demonstrated success in human resource management, customer relationship management, customer acquisition, training, mentorship, event management, strategic partnerships, and in developing knowledgeable and successful students.
Kimberly is an SPHR, a SHRM-SCP, holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Gannon University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mercyhurst University.

Ms. Belovarac teaches courses in the management concentration, including Principles of Management and Human Behavior in Organizations. Her primary research interest lies in the area of organizational culture.

She serves as an advisor to the Pre-Law Society at Mercyhurst University. She also serves as the Educational Compliance Advisor to the Office for Academic Affairs and is responsible for University FERPA compliance. She serves as the academic liaison to the Pennsylvania Department of Education for new program development. Her research interests include women and the law, as well as current higher education law issues. She is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys and sits on the Editorial Board for the Journal of College and University Law published by the National Association of College and University Attorneys and Notre Dame Law School. She is also a member of the National Association of Women Lawyers. Attorney Bollheimer oversees the Pre-Law Minor at the University and will oversee the Higher Education Administration concentration in the Organizational Leadership Program. Meredith received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University in 1999. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005.

Penny Hanes has a BS in Accounting and an MBA from Gannon University, in addition to her CPA license. She is a tenured associate professor in the Walker School of Business. Penny has sixteen years experience in governmental accounting, three years in public accounting, and two years in corporate accounting as an internal auditor.
This is her twenty-seventh year of teaching accounting at Mercyhurst University.

Mr. Cullen received his BS from John Carroll University and MBA from Gannon University. He has also completed graduate work at the College of William and Mary and Kent State University. He has many years of business and consulting experience with several firms, including UBS Paine Webber, Merrill Lynch, and Great Atlantic Property Management.
Cullen has served on the Boards of Trustees of many community not-for-profit organizations in the Erie area. In addition, he conducts many media presentations/interviews/workshops, corporate employee education programs and various community organization educational program presentations.

Dr. Yalcindag was born in Turkey and received her bachelor of arts degree from Bosphorus University. She earned both a master's and a Ph.D. in economics from Boston College. Dr. Yalcindag enjoys meeting students from different cultures and advises many of the International Business majors.
Her research includes studies in economics education as well as international economics.
