Dr. Parrish is an Organizational and Leadership psychologist and professor experienced in educating and advising government agencies by providing customized solutions for cultural and interpersonal challenges.

Dr. Ashley Parrish is an Organizational and Leadership psychologist with a focus on neuroscience. She co-owns Feeding The Wolf, a company that provides psychological and leadership consulting services. Her expertise lies at the intersection of psychology, leadership, and strategic thinking. She specializes in enhancing organizational performance for the Department of Defense and intelligence agencies by applying psychological and behavioral tools. Her experience and passion for supporting these organizations stems from her experience as an intelligence officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Navy since 2011. Dr. Parrish’s methodology is inspired by her experience working at United States Central Command, United States Africa Command, U.S. Pentagon, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Defense Counterproliferation Office, National Defense University, and deployments supporting Operation FREEDOM’S SENTINEL and Resolute Support Mission.

Dr. Parrish is also a professor at Mercyhurst University, where she teaches graduate courses in intelligence studies. She designed and teaches the course "Dark Leadership" which educates intelligence professionals on the psychology and behavior behind nefarious leaders. The course aims to educate and equip intelligence professionals to identify and understand the psychological underpinnings of nefarious behavior. Dr. Parrish's academic research coupled with real-world experience offers actionable strategies and techniques for confronting challenges posed by dark leaders. Additionally, her students can apply these valuable insights to equip intelligence professionals with skills to identify and manage dark leadership tendencies within their organizations.
