Dionne Veitch named vice president for enrollment management at Mercyhurst
Mercyhurst University President Kathleen A. Getz has named Dionne Veitch as the new vice president for enrollment management, effective immediately.
A 1992 Mercyhurst graduate, Veitch began her Mercyhurst career in Admissions before moving to Seattle, where she enjoyed a successful 16-year career in management and business development with a multinational computer technology firm. She later joined the family business, assuming management and marketing for the Veitch Law Firm.
Upon her return to Mercyhurst in 2013, she progressed through ever-increasing levels of responsibility and leadership roles within the enrollment division.
In her new role, she will be responsible for providing vision, leadership, and effective administration of the enrollment management division and its functions. In addition, she will serve as a member of the president’s cabinet and will set enrollment priorities for all academic programs while collaborating with senior administrators in strategic planning across the institution.
“Dionne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of enrollment vice president and has a deep understanding of our university, our region, and the ever-changing higher education landscape,” Getz said. “I have every confidence that she will strengthen a collaborative university-wide effort to enroll, retain, and support our students.”
