Robert Hingtgen joined us in 2018 as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California Santa Cruz, where his research focused on spherically-symmetric solutions to the Einstein-Klein-Gordon equations and Schrödinger–Newton system of equations. Dr. Hingtgen has experience teaching a wide variety of courses in mathematics. He is also the recipient of a service award at USCS for his contribution to the Santa Cruz community as in instructor in the Project for Inmate Education program.
