The Mercyhurst School of Health Professions & Public Health and the Evelyn Lincoln Institute for Ethics and Society present a panel discussion on the root causes of health and disease in the United States. Speakers will explore how medicine and law can partner to resolve legal problems that can impact the health of low- to middle-income people. Panelists will include Ellen Lawton, J.D., co-director of the National Center of Medical-Legal Partnerships; Alieu Nyassi, M.S., program director of inclusion initiatives & community engagement of UPMC; and Robert Oakley, J.D., executive director of Northwestern Legal Services.
