In the 1960s, singer-songwriter Judy Collins evoked both the idealism and the steely determination of a generation united against social and environmental injustices. Five decades later, new generations enjoy her iconic 50-album body of work. At 78, she remains as creatively vigorous as ever, writing, touring worldwide and nurturing fresh talent. The Mercyhurst Institute for Arts & Culture (MIAC) concludes its 2017-18 Live Series with a performance by Collins on Thursday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors, and $20 for students/youths. Visit miac.mercyhurst.edu or call the box office at 814-824-3000 for tickets.
