Benjamin Scharff, Ph.D., assistant professor of history, will deliver the annual Constitution Day Lecture on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 6 p.m. in the Mercy Heritage Room. His topic will be
"Assembly of Demigods?: Framers, Farmers and the Development of the Constitution."
Constitution Day (or Citizenship Day) recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and is normally observed on Sept. 17, the day the U.S. Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution in 1787 in Philadelphia.
