COVID-19 POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Mercyhurst University is committed to providing exceptional learning experiences to our students while prioritizing the health and safety of our community. The most current university policies and procedures regarding COVID-19 can be found below.

COVID-19 Policies

Policies related to COVID-19 for the Mercyhurst University community can be found on the Employee Hub and Student Hub pages. Questions about these policies can be directed to covid19@mercyhurst.edu or 814-824-3600.

Vaccination Policy

In addition to the already-required vaccines, Mercyhurst requires all students taking courses on campus and all university employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose of a two-dose series (e.g., Pfizer or Moderna) or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson). Additional information about this policy can be found on the Vaccination Policy webpage.

Student Handbook

The Student Handbook outlines policies, procedures, and the Conduct Code, which enumerate the university’s expectations of students.  In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the handbook has undergone substantial revision to specify expectations related to the prevention and mitigation of COVID-19.
