Programs and Services

Certain programs and services, centers and institutes, highlight the heart of the mission. These have been inspired by the Sisters of Mercy, who have served the poor, sick, and uneducated since the 19th century and have responded to five critical needs of the 21st century: solidarity with immigrants, care for marginalized women and children, sustainability of life (and the right to water), recognition of racism, and practices of non-violence.
