Suzanne Matthews is the Instructional Systems Designer for the Intelligence Studies Department. She has a B .S. in Education, a B.F.A. in Graphic Communications, and an M.S. in Instructional Technology Design, and holds multiple state teaching certifications in K-12 Education, Instructional Technology, and HS-Adult Education. She is also a member of the Sloan Consortium and the American Society of Training and Development.
Suzanne was a course developer and active instructor in public technical education for thirteen years, developing approximately thirty-eight state-certified courses within her program. She was a 2003 Fulbright Memorial Educator to Japan, as well as recipient of several national/institutional grants to develop curriculum for increasing cultural awareness.
Suzanne also worked for nine years in multiple aspects of pre-press design and agency project management.
She will be pursuing a Ph.D. in higher education in 2012, with a thesis focus of the investigation of innovative methods, related to e-learning and technology, for creating a systemic structure of organizational sustainability within a post-secondary environment.
