Audrey Haag joined Mercyhurst University in the fall of 2001 as an Instructor of Mathematics on the North East campus. Ms. Haag moved to the main campus in the fall of 2003 as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics. Recent teaching assignments include C++ Programming I and II, Computer Applications, Advanced Computer Applications, Database Management, and Statistics.
Prior to starting her teaching career, Ms. Haag held numerous jobs in manufacturing which included the management of information systems, production planning, inventory control, and purchasing functions.
One of Ms. Haag's passions is travelling to tropical islands. During the summer of 2009, she and her husband Dave travelled to Maui, Hawaii. Other islands they have visited include St. John, St. Thomas, St. Croix, Virgin Gorda and Kauai, Hawaii. A dream vacation would include a trip to New Zealand with a stopover in Bora Bora. Ah....maybe some day!
Ms. Haag and her husband enjoy riding their bikes at local bike baths. Favorites are Presque Isle, the Ashtabula, OH bike trail, Goddard State Park (Greenville, PA), and the paved path from Titusville to Ashtabula.
Other frequent trips include visits to their daughter Karla in Rochester, NY and their son Ken and wife Christina who live in Brookline, NH.
Downhill skiing is a sport our whole family enjoys. We've taken many a trip to Vermont, but have never gotten to the wild, wild west. Another one of those some day dreams...But, on the bright side, Ms. Haag and her husband have had weekly passes at Peek 'n Peak for many years!
