Whether you’re already sure which program you’d like to study or you need some time to explore your options, this is the perfect place to get started.
Mercyhurst offers more than 60 undergraduate majors, each offering unique hands-on learning opportunities in research, study abroad, internships, publishing and other experiences. In your major, you’ll get to know your professors and peers as you study, collaborate and build connections that will serve you well throughout graduate school, your career and beyond.
Choosing a major at Mercyhurst isn’t designed to limit your curiosity or the kinds of courses you can take. Although your major will help you hone your passion for a specific field, we encourage students to remain open to unexpected academic interests and collaborations across disciplines. That’s why at Mercyhurst you’ll see English majors going to medical school, Anthropology/Archaeology majors becoming marketing executives, and Public Health majors exceling in law school.
And if you’re still unsure what you want to study, don’t worry—you can always apply as an undecided major. Many students spend their first year exploring different disciplines and taking a variety of courses in the REACH Curriculum.
