Alpha Phi Sigma (Criminal Justice Honor Society)
Mission
The purpose of Alpha Phi Sigma shall be to recognize and promote high scholarship among students actively engaged in collegiate preparation for professional services; to keep abreast of the advances in scientific research; to evaluate the ethical standards of the Criminal Justice professions and to establish in the public mind the benefit and necessity of education and professional training.

Chi Alpha Sigma (Mercyhurst College Athlete Honor Society)
This purpose of the Mercyhurst College Athletic Honor Society is to be an organization of college athletes with high academic achievement, exemplary character, and positive attitude who have earned a letter(s) in their respective sport(s). The motto of this society shall be “Excellence in Athletics and Academics.” The watchwords of this society shall be the 4 A’s: Athletics, Academics, Achievements, Attitude.

Mission
The purpose of Iota Tau Alpha shall be to function as an honor and professional society for students of Athletic Training Education. Iota Tau Alpha activities shall be designed to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment, professional promotion and investigation in Athletic Training Education, and to promote dissemination of information and new interpretations of the Society’s activities among students of Athletic Training Education.
