Anime Tamashii
Mission
The purpose of the Anime Club shall be to expose its members to the Japanese language and culture by watching Japanese animation in Japanese and sometimes English. Our organization will look at the historical background of Japan, in such anime as Rurouni Keshin, and some of the myths, in such anime as Inuyasha, Our organization will also give its members a chance to watch anime that they normally would not be exposed to. We will look at the different genres with the exception of hentai (anime pornography).

Asian Culture Club
Mission
The purpose of the Asian Culture Club shall be maintaining traditional Asian cultures, promoting a better understanding between non-Asian American and Asian students, encouraging Asian students to be a part of the school and the community. Activities and programs sponsored by the club will be expected to fulfill the Asian Culture Club’s stated objectives. The purpose of the club should also be related to the promotion of personal development and intellectual growth and should not conflict with the mission, core values and policies of Mercyhurst College.

Diversity 101
Mission
The purpose of this organization is to instill cultural awareness, a spirit of pride, identity, comradeship, and unity among collegians involved. It is further aimed at giving the students a greater voice in the college and the community of which he/she is an integral part. It is felt that those goals can best be reached by a broader knowledge of his/her history, participation in the community and by the initiation of social projects.

Mission
The Queer Straight Alliance of Mercyhurst College wishes to bring awareness and acceptance of all sexual orientations to the Mercyhurst College community. We also focus highly on support of people who do not feel comfortable or ready to "come out" to their peers.
