Mission
The purpose of this AAF college chapter shall be 1) to provide and promote a better understanding of the functions of advertising and of its values; 2) to stimulate and encourage advertising professionalism through advertising education; 3) to apply the skills, creativity, and energy of advertising to help solve social problems; 4) to develop the individual abilities of its members; and 5) to promote fellowship and free exchange of ideas.

Anthropology Club
Mission
The purpose of this organization is to give the Mercyhurst College community an opportunity to explore the growing field of anthropology through educational activities such as guest speakers and educational field trips, all of which will be open to any interested student, faculty, or staff member of Mercyhurst College. This will provide members opportunities to be involved first hand, in the field of anthropology, as well as develop possible professional career goals. This organization will stress an interdisciplinary approach to anthropology through its many applications by encouraging students from all related majors to join and participate.

Art Therapy Club
Mission
The purpose of the Art Therapy Club shall be to come together, with fellow students from this department and anyone else interested, to learn more about this major through trips, exercises, and workshops. We want to expose the community of Mercyhurst College and Erie to the many benefits of Art Therapy and to also broaden our appreciation for our chosen future field. To do this, we would like to raise money to attend conferences and workshops in and around Erie.

Chemistry Club
Mission
The purpose of the Chemistry Club shall be to expand student’s involvement with the scientific community around them. We want students to have opportunities to associate with fellow students that share the same interests. We shall provide students with opportunities to do community service activities, attend seminars, and raise awareness of the importance of chemistry in the world around us. If the need for tutors and/or mentors arises, the Chemistry Club will contribute students to help others with the subject. The club will promote enthusiasm about the chemical sciences and encourage pride and spirit among the members.

Fashion Merchandising Club
Mission
The purpose of the Fashion Merchandising Club is to encourage career exploration and become acquainted with professionals in the fashion merchandising arena, to explore applications of classroom activities, to encourage professional involvement in College and career oriented organizations, to achieve familiarity with peers, faculty, and professionals, to enlarge the student’s understanding of the scope of fashion merchandising, to represent the students collectively in extracurricular matters relative to faculty, the profession, and other campus organizations, to acquaint the community with the Fashion Merchandising program at Mercyhurst College.

Mission
The purpose of the Mercyhurst College History Club is to create opportunities where students and professors can nurture and enrich their passion for history and come together outside of the classroom setting. The club will strive to make the campus aware of the importance and relevance of history. These goals will be achieved through trips, educational speakers, films, fundraisers, and other special events. The club will strive to cultivate a democratic atmosphere of spirited, open debate in its meetings, and always advance our central goal of a better understanding of the past.

Interior Design Club
Mission
The purpose of the Interior Design Club shall be to provide for interior design students (and any student considering majoring in Interior Design) a way to gather together to develop personal and professional relationships that serve to benefit its members during the time of their education at Mercyhurst College as well as in their professional and/or educational endeavors after the completion of their undergraduate degree. Meetings and activities hosted by the Interior Design Club shall be done so with the intention of making its members more knowledgeable and marketable in their educational and professional careers. Finally, it shall be a priority of the Interior Design Club to represent its members with the utmost professionalism within the Mercyhurst College community and to all other outside organizations that the Club and its members may be associated. The Interior Design Club and all associated activities of this organization shall not conflict with the mission, goals, and policies of Mercyhurst College.

International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA)
Mission
The purpose of IALEIA is to advance high standards of professionalism in law enforcement intelligence analysis at the local, state/provincial, national and international levels. Its aim is to enhance general understanding of the role of intelligence analysis, encourage the recognition of intelligence analysis as a professional endeavor, develop International qualification and competence standards, reinforce professional concepts, devise training standards and curricula, furnish advisory and related services on intelligence analysis matters, conduct analytic-related research studies and provide the ability to disseminate information regarding analytical techniques and methods.

Mercyhurst Pre-Law Society
Mission
This purpose of Mercyhurst Pre-Law Society shall be to create a community of students who share the goal of attending law school. This community will be advised by several members of the Mercyhurst Community with experience in the law school admissions process. The goal of the group is to help students determine if law school is the best option for them. The Pre-Law Society shall also work to assist students in getting into the best law schools possible by maximizing LSAT scores, GPA, and supporting extracurricular activities. These goals will be achieved through one-on-one and group advising regarding proper LSAT preparation, GPA requirements, and relevant outside activities that will assist in the admissions process, as well as assistance and guidance throughout the admissions process.

Mission
The Philosophy Club of Mercyhurst College serves as an opportunity for interested students to experiment with philosophical inquiry.
