Vision:

The Marion Shane Multicultural Center encourages exposure to the cultural richness found in color, gender, national origin, creed, lifestyle and sexual orientation.

Our Mission:

The Multicultural Center is a comprehensive space that assists with the educational, cultural, social and personal needs of all students, with special emphasis on ethnic, gender, and minority issues. The primary focus of the center is to develop leaders and scholars. Other areas of focus are to create campus-wide awareness in regard to socio-economic issues and to bridge the gap between students and faculty.

Our Goals:

The office advocates educational growth through scholarship, leadership and service.

The office strives to implement retention and personal enhancement programs that are instituted for students to promote academic success and professional development.
