Meal Plan Options

Listed below are the meal plans being offered through Mercyhurst College for the 2010-2011 academic year. To sign up for a meal plan, students need to contact the OneCard Office at (814) 824-3640.

Anytime access plans

Provide continuous access to the Egan Dining Hall; enter and exit the dining facilities as frequently as you would like. Use Bonus Bucks for purchases in the Laker Inn, C-Store and the Bookstore Coffee Bar.

Silver Plan (Minimum Residence Hall Plan)Anytime access plus $50 Bonus Bucks and 2 guest passes per term.$1,551 per term

Block Plans (For apartment, townhouse and off campus only)

Offers a specified number of entries into the Egan Dining Hall or Laker Inn per term. Each entry debits one meal from your plan. Block plans DO include Bonus Bucks. Dining Dollars may be added onto the plan.

Dining Dollars

Offers choice and flexibility and may be used in any Parkhurst-operated facility, including the Egan Dining Hall, the Laker Inn, the Bookstore Coffee Bar and the C-Store. You can add dining dollars to an Anytime Access or Block Plan, or purchase them on their own. The following amounts are available to add to your student bill at the start of each term.

Resident freshman may select and change their meal plan selection through the One Card Office. The selected meal option will automatically carry over from one term to the next unless the student requests a change. The request for change must be made prior to the start of the new term.

Upperclassman may choose any meal plan they wish.

Payment Methods

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are used just like cash. They can be used for a la carte items at The Laker Inn or meals can be purchased at the Guest Rates in Egan Hall.

OneCard

Your OneCard works similarly to a debit card. Any cash-like funds you add can be used at any dining or service facility on campus including the Bookstore Coffee Shop, the C-Store, Egan Dining Hall and the Laker Inn. Please contact the OneCard office to add funds to your account. You may add Dining Dollars to it at any time.
Your OneCard is required for entrance into the dining facilities and to access meal plan options.
