Timeless Traditions

Hurst Day

Our newest campus tradition, Hurst Day arrives unexpectedly every fall, heralded by bagpipes. Hurst Day surprises students, faculty, and staff with an entire day of games, contests, music, food, and community spirit. Join in the celebration whenever it may occur!

Hurst is Homecoming

Mercyhurst Alumni of all generations will gather for this exciting weekend! There’s no better way to reminisce about your days at the Hurst than connecting with other Lakers. This weekend also allows our Lakers to experience the best of Hurst athletics as our football team competes against a hometown rival. We invite you back to an atmosphere that celebrates Laker Pride, the Mercyhurst community, and nostalgia for your college days. Reunite with classmates and professors, network with current students and athletes, and celebrate the 60th, 55th, 50th, 40th, 30th, 25th, 10th, and 5th reunions for each class!

Volunteer

The Mercy Mission comes alive in the work of our students and graduates, inspiring them to lead lives of civic engagement. If you are interested in serving in a volunteer capacity at Mercyhurst, there are opportunities for grads to contribute in the Office of Admissions, Campus Involvement Center, or Career Development Center. You can also give back to the Mercyhurst and Erie communities through volunteering with our Service Learning initiatives. For more information on volunteering, please contact Meaghan Hubert at mhubert2@mercyhurst.edu or 814-824-2379.
