A quintessential artist in her own right, Patricia has combined her artistic talent and teaching skills throughout her career. An academic and artistic honors recipient, she brings a wealth of talent and commitment to her students’ success that is unparalleled. Patricia has been associated with a wide range of institutions and organizations in both social support, museum work and higher education.

Spoken of her by colleagues, “her students range from those who feel they have no artistic fiber in their body to those whom she helps rediscover the gift of art, deep within. Her philosophy about one’s ability or inclination for art can be summed up in the words of Henry Ward Beecher: Every artist dips his brush into his own soul and paints his own nature into his pictures.” “Patricia’s passion for art helps many discover a “hidden gift” for drawing, painting or design which provides a new way for some individuals to express themselves and come to a deeper appreciation of themselves as a person”, The Collaborative Staff of Ecclesia Center.

In her capacity of faculty in Interior Architecture & Design, she teaches burgeoning designers how to express their design visions with their own hands and hearts.
