Mercyhurst slates events for Black History Month

In observance of Black History Month, Mercyhurst University will host a series of events throughout February for the campus community. Among them are:

Friday, Feb. 2, 7 p.m., Waterford Room, Ryan Hall: Black History Jeopardy, hosted by Multicultural & Student Activities Council

Thursday, Feb. 8, 4 p.m., Multicultural Student Lounge, Carolyn Herrmann Student Union: Movie Night, hosted by Black Students for Unity

Friday, Feb. 9, 4 p.m., REC Center: Pop-Up Step Class, hosted by Multicultural Student Services

Wednesday, Feb. 21, 6 p.m., The Roost: Black History Trivia, hosted by Black Students for Unity and Multicultural Student Services

Thursday, Feb. 22, TBD: Karaoke Night, hosted by Black Students for Unity

Thursday, Feb. 29, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Grotto & 501 Grill: Soul Food Festival, supported by Parkhurst Dining

Thursday, Feb. 29, 5 p.m., TBD: Confidence Workshop with Divinely Crowned, hosted by Black Students for Unity and Multicultural Student Services
