Tired of the same old brown bag lunch every day?
Add some excitement to your midday meal when Mercyhurst North East’s Spring Lunch Series returns on Feb. 18.
This year’s Spring Lunch Series features 15 meals highlighting nine culinary themes ranging from “French Cuisine” to “Close to Kosher” to “Taste of Britain” (six of the menus are served twice). Each lunch includes a soup or salad, main course and dessert, and is served with a type of bread related to the lunch theme. Students in Mercyhurst North East’s culinary arts program plan, prepare and serve all meals.

Most lunches are served at Lake View Country Club, 8352 Station Road (Route 89) in North East (memberships are not required). Lunches on March 27 and April 17 will be served at the Carriage Way Dining Room on the Mercyhurst North East campus. Seating begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch served at noon.
Lunches are $9 per person (includes tax) and reservations are required. Call 814-725-6333 and leave a message with your name, phone number and the number of seats requested. Lent-friendly vegetarian or chicken substitutions may be requested at the time of reservation.
