Getting tired of the same old brown bag lunch or heat-and-eat dinner? You’re in luck. This spring, Mercyhurst University will once again be hosting two series of international dining options: the Spring Dining Series at the Erie campus and the Lunch Around the World Series at the North East campus.
All meals are planned, cooked and served by Mercyhurst students. From classic American barbecue to savory West African cuisine, there’s a meal to please any palate.
Dinners, served at the J.W. and Alice Marriott Café at the Erie campus, are $10 plus tax. They will be served on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 5 and 5:30 p.m. To make a reservation, call 814-824-2565 after 9 a.m. Monday-Friday.
Lunches will be served at the Carriage Way and Stone Chapel dining rooms at the North East campus or the Lake View Country Club at 8351 Station Rd. (Rt. 89) in North East. Lunches are $9 including tax and will be served from 11:30 to 11:45 a.m. on Fridays (except the April 16 lunch, which is on a Wednesday). To make a reservation, call 814-725-6333.
Payment must be made in cash or check, and a fish, chicken or vegetarian substitution may be ordered specifically at the time of reservation.
