Mercyhurst design zombies take Addys by storm

Several Mercyhurst University graphic design students won awards at the District Two American Advertising Federation (AAF) Ad Club Awards (Addys).

Angela Zanaglio earned gold for her “Forgotten Fog,” and Anna Cooney took silver for her collateral for the Western PA Undergrad Psychology Conference. Honorable mentions also went to Rachel Clark (Mercyhurst Art Department brochures), Jordan Cargill (Lindt Chocolate box-Glasgow style), Rachel Maykut (Galactic Nemesis playbill), Carley Moynihan (Galactic Nemesis poster), Travis Beck (personal portfolio website), and Anna Cooney & Leena Clint (Lumen Literary & Fine Arts Magazine).

At the professional design level, Peter Stadtmueller, graphic design program director and lecturer, took home both a gold Addy and a special Judges’ Award for Digital Advertising for the Mariachi El Bronx website. The theme of the awards show was "Working Dead: What kind of Design Zombie are you?"
