Mercyhurst culinary students host dinner series

Tuesday, February 17, 2015

Culinary students from Mercyhurst’s Erie campus will welcome the community to a new series of themed dinners beginning Wednesday, Feb. 18.

All meals are planned, cooked and served by Mercyhurst students. Menus this year range from “Obiad” (featuring Polish sausage with homemade pierogis and vegetables) to “Amour France” (baked chicken and brie with mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus).

Dinners will be served on Mondays and Wednesdays between 5 and 5:30 p.m. at the J.W. and Alice Marriott Café in the Center for Academic Engagement. Each meal costs $10 plus tax, and each menu will be offered twice between Feb. 18 and April 22.

Reservations for each dinner can be made two weeks in advance by calling 814-824-2565 weekdays after 9 a.m. Payments can made by cash or check.

To view the menu options, visit mercyhurst.edu/spring-dining. A fish, chicken or vegetarian substitution may be ordered specifically at the time of reservation.
