64 children enjoy MNE holiday event

Christmas
A total of 64 local children visited Mercyhurst University – The North East Campus for the 22nd annual Christmas on Campus event. Employees and students donated gifts for the children, who also enjoyed Christmas activities, crafts and snacks – including, of course, Christmas cookies and milk.

The annual celebration culminated in the student union, where the children gathered for a visit from Santa Claus himself.

The event was coordinated by the Mercyhurst North East Student Government Association with help from assistant student life director Rachel Pacholke. Pictured are student volunteers Ashley Minnis, Destiny Samlock, Salma Akol and Alex Bartlebaugh.
