Trustees of Mercyhurst College gave college officials a 75th anniversary present on Tuesday, Oct. 2, when they approved construction bids of $7.3 million, opening the door for work to begin on a 45,000-square-foot academic building that will be the largest and most expensive structure the college has ever built.
