Mercyhurst video tour debuts on

After months of script writing, video shoots, and production revisions, YOUniversityTV, an online College Video Resource Community (CVRC), has uploaded the Mercyhurst College campus tour to its Web site.

The edgy, staccato video – which YOUniversity TV producers said got high marks from a high school focus group – officially debuted the week of Feb. 23. It can be viewed at:

A YOUniversityTV production crew was on campus last summer to shoot the video and do interviews with faculty, administrators and students.

YOUniversityTV's primary mission is to promote higher education, assisting college-bound students and their parents with the college-selection and enrollment processes by providing an all-access pass to the campuses of hundreds of universities nationwide.

Launched in 2008 in Boynton Beach, Fla., YOUniversityTV’s Web site –
– features campus tours of 200 schools, with a plan to upload a total of 500 videos eventually.
