Mercyhurst community asked to help hurricane victims

Members of the Mercyhurst College community raised $2,043.66 in three days for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Sister Geri Rosinski, director of the college's campus ministry, said that donations were accepted Wednesday, Thurday and Friday.

The entire sumwas forwarded to severeal large relief agencies, including The American Red Cross, the Salvation Army and Catholic Relief Services.
