Mercyhurst psych professor tapped for story in Billboard magazine

Terry F. Pettijohn II, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychology at Mercyhurst College, is quoted in a Billboard magazine article about the trends over time of using sexuality to sell music in different social and economic times.

While the print version of the magazine, a leading international newsweekly of music, video and home entertainment headquartered in New York, will feature the article in its entirety when it hits newsstands next week, the article is already being featured on the Web sites of both CNN and Reuters.

Pettijohn joined the faculty at Mercyhurst College in 2000, after earning his bachelor of science in psychology at Ohio State University, and both his master’s and doctorate degrees in psychology from University of Georgia.
