Anthrax test reveals hoax

(Erie, Pa). Mercyhurst College has just received word from the FBI that the substance found Tuesday, October 30th in an envelope postmarked from Egypt tested negative for anthrax. Dr. Garvey, President of the college, will hold a news conference with officials to make a formal announcement at 3:30pm in Mercy Heritage Room. A meeting will be held in the same room at 8:00pm today to alleviate students' concerns.
