In the 2013 thriller A Hijacking, a cargo ship is heading for harbor when hijacked by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean. When the pirates engage in escalating negotiations with authorities, the seamen are taken hostage in a cynical game of life and death. A costly demand for ransom causes a psychological drama. The film screens Sunday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. in Taylor Little Theatre. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for students/seniors and $1 for Mercyhurst students (with ID). For tickets, call 814-824-3000 or visit miac.mercyhurst.edu.
