 The Mercyhurst Institute for Arts & Culture presents Howard Fishman’s “The Basement Tapes Project” on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. in Taylor Little Theatre. The Basement Tapes Project explores the mysterious underground recordings made by Bob Dylan and The Band in 1967 and has been presented to wide acclaim at major national venues. Performing both well-known songs from the 1975 album Basement Tapes as well as songs that have never been officially made public, The Basement Tapes Project presents a special insight into Dylan’s musical relationship with The Band.
