HOW TO APPLY
In order to begin the admission process please complete the Foundations Program Application to be sent in along with the $200 deposit. Also, include the most recent 504 Plan and/or IEP and the applicant's high school transcript. Please do not fax the IEP or transcripts. All additional required forms may be submitted separately after the initial application, but they are necessary for our final admission decision.

APPLICATION PROCESS
The deposit included with the application is required to confirm a campus visit, including a campus tour and an interview with the Program Director. When the applicant is admitted to the program, the $200 deposit will be applied toward the tuition payment. The check should be made payable to Mercyhurst College and mailed in with the application.

Remaining fee schedule as follows:

April 15, 2012: $1500
May 15, 2012: $1000
June 15, 2012: $800

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Applicants who are eligible for enrollment in the Foundations Program must be currently enrolled in 11th grade and are students with a diagnosis of Autism (Asperger Syndrome, PDD, and PDD-NOS) who demonstrate the social maturity and developmental ability to participate successfully in a residential setting. Students with emotional or behavioral disorders as a primary diagnosis are not eligible for this Program.

MINI-GRANTS FOR ELIGIBLE PA RESIDENTS
For PA Residents, the Bureau of Autism Services of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare is pleased to announce the availability of MINI-GRANTS to support students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and families that include an individual with ASD.
