Lecture: Fr. George Strohmeyer and Vicki Washek of Erie’s l’Arche Community deliver the annual Bishop Oscar Romero Lecture. L’Arche enables people with and without disabilities to share their lives in communities of faith and friendship. Free and open to the public.

Panel: Student Rachel Brown, Dr. Natasha Duncan and Professor Lena Surzhko-Harned speak on topics covered in Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide by Nicholas Kristoff and Sheryl WuDunn, such as female sexual slavery, honor/shame killings, and maternal mortality.
