Student Meal Plans
Listed below are the meal plans being offered through Mercyhurst College for the 2006-2007 academic year. To sign up for a meal plan, students need to contact the Office of Student Financial Services at (800) 825-1926, ext. 2288.
Meal Plans
Carte Blanche
This plan entitles students to unlimited entry to Egan Dining Hall at any time during the 19 meal periods offered. Meal equivalence is accepted in The Laker Inn during posted times.
Cost per term: $1,293
Flex 17 + $50 Dining Dollars
This plan entitles students to 17 meals per week in Egan Hall and gives them $50 in Dining Dollars. Meal equivalence is accepted in The Laker Inn during posted times.

Block Plus Plan
This plan entitles students to the specified number of meals per term plus having Dining Dollars to use. Meals can be used for guests and there is no limit to the number of meals used per meal period. (Any unused meals at the end of the term are forfeited). Meal equivalence is accepted at The Laker Inn as well during posted times.

Resident freshman may select and change their meal plan selection through the Office of Student Financial Services. The selected meal option will automatically carry over from one term to the next unless the student requests a change. The request for change must be made prior to the start of the new term.
Upperclassman may choose any meal plan they wish.
Payment Methods
Dining Dollars:
Dining Dollars are used just like cash. They can be used for ala carte items at The Laker Inn or meals can be purchased at the Guest Rates in Egan Hall.
One Card:
The One Card works similarly to a debit card. The dollars can be spent on ala carte items at the Laker Inn. They can also be used for all-you-can-eat meals at Egan Dining Hall. Please contact the One Card Office to open up an account. After your account is open you may add dollars to it at any time. Your One Card is required for entrance into the dining facilities and to access meal plan options.
Board Equivalency at the Laker Inn
Meal equivalence is available to meal plan participants to provide more flexibility in service hours and increased variety of meal options at the Laker Inn's three destinations.
