Matthew Capriotti, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist and professor of psychology at San José State University, will address the treatment of Tourette’s syndrome at Mercyhurst University on Friday morning, Sept. 21. That evening, he will offer a public lecture on mental and health disparities in the LGBTQ community. Both events are sponsored by the Psychology Department of the Hafenmaier College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at Mercyhurst. The Tourette’s workshop begins at 8:30 a.m. in Mercy Heritage Room, Sullivan Hall. It is geared toward local professionals, graduate students, faculty and upper-level undergraduates.
