Learn firsthand from a monk, a friar and two sisters the meaning of a religious vocation and of the consecrated life during a panel discussion at Mercyhurst University on Thursday, Sept. 24. The presentation, at 7 p.m. in Walker Recital, is titled “Religious Life: Crossroads or Crisis?” The speakers will include Sister Anne Curtis, RSM, a Sister of Mercy; Rev. Daniel P. Horan, OFM, a Franciscan priest; Brother Anthony Weber, OCSO, a Trappist monk; and Sister Charlotte Zalot, OSB, a Benedictine Sister. Earlier in the day Fr. Horan will celebrate Mercyhurst’s Mass of the Holy Spirit, an annual event that marks the start of a new academic year. The event is sponsored by Mercyhurst’s William C.
