The story of the world’s most recognizable theoretical physicist comes to the big screen in this realistic and inspirational biopic. Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne) is a grinning, confident postgrad at Cambridge when he falls in love with Jane (Felicity Jones). In light of Hawking’s ALS diagnosis, the energy of his scientific inquiry sharply juxtaposes with his slow physical decline. Golden Globe winner Redmayne and Jones deliver an astonishing portrayal of a couple battling love and illness.
