Lecture: ‘Gender and Spirituality: Catholic Perspectives on a Whole and Just Life’

Wednesday, October 4, 2017 - 7:00pm
Walker Recital Hall

Greg Baker, director of campus ministry at Mercyhurst University and a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Fordham University, presents the annual fall lecture sponsored by the William C. Sennett Institute for Mercy and Catholic Studies at Mercyhurst. Baker examines where the Catholic tradition weighs in regarding the complexities of gender; challenges listeners to inventory their own habits, attitudes and postures toward others; and offers Christian wisdom for a whole and just life — a spirituality marked by openness, intimacy and freedom. His talk on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. in the Walker Recital Hall at Mercyhurst is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Dr. Mary Hembrow Snyder, msnyder@mercyhurst.edu.
